Art in general is my passion. Amongst the various art forms, painting, sculpture, drawing and restoration have been a proof of my passion. My specialty is portraiture.
Soy una artista multidisciplinar con inquietudes artísticas desde que era muy muy pequeña.
I´m a multidisciplinary artist with artistic interests since I was very young age.
De manera profesional, todo comenzó hace mucho tiempo con una pequeña tienda de moda infantil, donde comencé con la fabricación artesanal de batones para cristianar, cosidos a mano y realizados con las mejores telas y encajes.
Estas maravillosas prendas se vendieron por toda España, incluso conseguimos exportar una pequeña parte a Belgica.
I began as a professional artist a long time ago, with a young children’s fashion store where I created artisanal christening clothes that were handmade, using the best fabrics and lace. These wonderful clothes were sold primarily in Spain, but with some parts of my collections also finding considerable success in Belgium.
Tiempo después mis inquietudes artísticas me llevaron a la restauración de muebles antiguos.
After the first part of my journey with christening wear, I began exploring new ways of expressing my passion for art and this led me to the world of restoration!
Durante esta maravillosa estapa de mi vida descubrí cuanto se podia disfrutar trabajando para restaurar un mueble antiguo.
During this wonderful stage of my life, I discovered how much one can enjoy the actual work of restoring an antique piece of furniture.
Trabajar sobre un mueble olvidado en el tiempo y abandonado en un desván, ver como va recuperando su color, su vida y poder disfrutar de nuevo de él, es muy gratificante.
Such furniture pieces were often left abandoned and forgotten in one corner of a house or another…and it was hugely gratifying for me to bring them back to life.
Os aseguro que a día de hoy, en cuanto vuelvo a tener la oportunidad de restaurar un mueble, no lo dudo ni un segundo.
Despite spending more time painting these days, my passion for restoration has not disappeared. If anything, I know that if I have the opportunity to restore again a piece of old furniture then I will not hesitate even for a second.
